Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, Paul fled to New York City in 1996. There he met people who had ironic mullets and who would go on about about music, art, and politics instead of cars, hunting and Red Wings. And that's when he learned to do hair. He tried everything with hair. He did fashion, editorial and runway, the movies, and... Broadway! And what he learned is that he really loves doing hair in a salon. Top notch cuts and colors, specializing in natural highlights and haircuts that look great and grow out well. Co-founder of Fur Hair Gallery, Paul has been in LA for five years and is excited to now be part of the stellar team at Sugar.

A Seattle native, Nicole has over ten years experience in the biz. She has practiced her craft in several salons throughout the Southland, including a couple of stints as an educator. Nicole specializes in natural dimensional color and wash 'n wear cuts. Her experience as an Art History and Gallery Design student led her to the artsy vibe of Sugar. When she is not creating fab cuts and color, she can be found curled with a book and her cat 'Chickens', out on a long walk her dog 'Gus Gus' or wrapped up in her latest crafty project.
